Portals focusing on the nine focus areas of Ken Tingey's Tacit, Explicit, Expressive (TEE) organizational knowledge mode. The purpose of the collection of portals is to provide guidelines for organizations to achieve full fluidity in their relationships with their organizational systems. By developing competence in these areas, organizations can deepen organizational knowledge, activate the creative processes of learning and doing, and significantly enhance their cognitive legitimacy, their ability to fulfill their missions as understood by outside parties.

Tacit to Tacit

This course focuses of the needs of organizations in understanding, capturing, and passing on tacit knowledge from person to person -- or in groups.
Tacit to Explicit

This course covers issues with respect to the transfer of knowledge from tacit forms to explicit, or documented forms. This is a very common practice, of course, but much of the challenge in the TEE model is to create knowledge representations that can easily lead to development and integration of processes into useful, computer-mediated forms.
Tacit to Expressive

This is a paradigm-changing course on the development of processes from the knowledge of individuals. It considers issues of standard logic and how it can be organized and categorized in computerized processes
Explicit to Tacit

Making use of documents, advance organizers, and other explicit forms of knowledge is one of the most storied and successful ways of learning. The object of this portal is to concentrate on means of using this method to achieve fluidity within an organization and its appropriate networks.
Explicit to Explicit

Modifying and improving on documents and other static knowledge forms is very common. There are unique requirements to accomplishing this with fluidity as the objective, as we will cover in this portal.
Explicit to Expressive

Creating processes based on existing documents can be quite straightforward, as documents themselves impose structure on thoughts. In this area, we look at methods and tools to create process-generated documents in a fluid, integrated environment.
Expressive to Expressive

Taking processes and expanding on them and interlinking them is of critical importance in any collaborative activity. Furthermore, it is needed in many single purpose activity that involves recursion, or looping from the beginning of an activity back to the beginning. This is also an important function in the development of collaborative processes in a socio-cognitive network.
