RSA Seminar Series Website Usage

This chart tracks site usage for the RSA seminar series. A "hit" is recorded for each mouse click on a webpage. The number of hits suggests activity on a page rather than a simple count of the number of people visiting the site. All hits produced by NCRTM staff have been removed to reflect public use only. There were a total of 5515 hits on the RSA training pages between September, 2008 and March, 2009. The numbers for the main page and training event pages are listed in the tables below.

Main Page
This chart reflects activity on the main page that houses the RSA seminar links. The number from a high of hits vary widely from a high of 360 in January, to a low at 196 in March. This variation tracks the number of people attending the seminars. The subtle downward trend suggests that people familiar with the site are skipping the introduction and going directly to the specific training pages.

Business Enterprise Programs
The Business Enterprise seminar took place on November 6, 2008. There were 58 hits in October, indicating registration activity. There were approximately 70 attendees. Hits spike in November with 233, tail off to 64 in December, and show a slow descent through March. This is the earliest seminar. It is interesting to note that the site continues to attract some residual interest over time. The latest number for March is 52.









704 Training (parts 1 & 2)
704 training took place on two different occasions with two different audiences. Part two (CILs) took place on November 20,2008, part one took place on November 25. Again, the site was available in October and there were 310 hits in that month. There were approximately 90 attendees for part two; and 45 attendees for part one.with the CILs (Part 2) onThis chart tracks site usage for the RSA seminar series. While there was a large number of hits for these two trainings in November (736), the trend did not peak until December with 854 hits. The drop off is similar to the trend in the Busienss enterprise chart, considering that we have doubled the number of initial attendees. The latest figure in March was 134 hits. This suggests that interest continues for both of these trainings.






State Plan
The FY2010 State Plan submission seminar too place on January 22, 2009. There were 100 attendees. There was less lead time on setting up the webpage and thus no hits in December. There were 111 hits in January. Drop off in February and March (77 and 61) is consistent with identified trends.












TA Network
The Technical Assistance Network seminar took place a week after the state plan. There were 49 identified attendees, but 73 registrants.Similar short lead time on the webpage is apparent as there are no December hits. There were 99 hits in January, and more hits in February (125). This increase in traffic after the presentation suggests that the missing registrants probably viewed the recording.








TACE Needs Assessment
The TACE Needs Assessment and Workplan for FY 2010 and beyond, took place on March 3, 2009. There were 27 attendees. Again, there was little lead time, and thus only 9 hits in February. Latest hit rate in March is 145.

On a scale of 1(very poor) to 6 (excellent), the seminars have scored consistently in the good to very good range. As the format became more inter active, the presentation score has increased. There is some issue concerning the number of responses. Attendees have not responded to cues or alternate formats (email, and on line forms).
